Labor Day

Monday, September 1
All Day

United States

Labor Day is a national holiday, but it's also a meaningful reminder of something deeper: the importance of work, the value of workers, and the blessing of rest.

Every day, people show up—on job sites, in classrooms, behind counters, in offices, in homes, and in the community—contributing in ways big and small to the world around them. Their effort keeps things running, keeps people cared for, and keeps communities strong.

“And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.”
Ecclesiastes 3:13 (KJV)

It’s not about status or title. It’s about taking joy in what you’ve been given to do—and seeing even ordinary work as something meaningful. That sense of fulfillment, of putting your hands to something and seeing the result, is something God invites us to enjoy.

Labor Day is also a time to slow down and step back. Rest matters, too. It helps us refocus, refuel, and regain perspective.

So today, we honor your effort—whatever form it takes. And we hope this day brings you a well-deserved chance to rest, recharge, and reflect on all you’ve accomplished.

**Please note that our offices will be closed on Labor Day.**
